Own Reporter :: Tareque Hussain is in danger of holding a press conference against Awami League leader and Sylhet Upazila Chairman Ashfaq Ahmed. Tareque Hussain is a resident of Tuker Bazar union of Sylhet Sadar upazila. He has been running the business with a shop in the local market In such a situation, the men of Awami League leader and Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Ashfaq Ahmed attacked him and vandalised the shop.
Later, he held a press conference against Awami League leader and upazila chairman Ashfaq Ahmed at the behest of his friend Tamim. On his advice, Tareque organized a press conference on July 8, 2022 and briefly explained to the media how Awami League goons attacked him with local weapons and stabbed him with his right hand and completely vandalized the shop. And after the attack on him and vandalism of the shop, he lodged a complaint with the police but the police did not accept the complaint.
Angered by the press conference, they attacked Tareque Hussain and vandalized everything. Parts of their homes were even burnt.
